What this site is

CodexSkins is a free, community-run catalog of color themes and original wallpaper skins for AI coding agents. It is an independent project — not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by OpenAI or Anthropic. Codex® and Claude® are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe compatibility.

Licenses & credits

• Classic palettes (Dracula, Catppuccin, Nord, …) belong to their upstream open-source projects and keep their original licenses — every theme page links the source.
• Original wallpaper skins made for this site are free to download and use as your agent's background, personal or commercial. Don't resell them as standalone artwork or claim authorship.
• Install prompts and theme JSON from this site may be used freely.

Third-party tools

Image-background skins rely on third-party open-source engines that we link to but do not develop, distribute or audit. Review them yourself before installing — the trust ladder explains the mechanisms and risks in plain language.

No warranty

Everything here is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. Appearance changes are low-risk and reversible, but you apply them at your own discretion. We may update or remove content at any time.
