Notes on this palette
Dawn is Rosé Pine with the lamps off and the curtains open. The base #faf4ed is a warm off-white with a pink undertone, and the accents keep their names but drop their volume further: the gold becomes amber ink, the pine deepens until it can hold its own on paper. Light themes with an actual mood are rare — most aim for neutral and land on sterile — and this one commits to soft the way the dark variant commits to dim.
It reads best in exactly the situations light themes exist for: morning work, bright rooms, a seat by a window. Agent transcripts feel closer to a book page than a console, and the rose accent marking your own prompts is easy to find without ever being loud. The muted palette does mean code blocks whisper; if you review dense diffs all day you may prefer the crisper GitHub Light, but for prose-heavy sessions Dawn is the gentler read.
